Going the Distance for Healthy Living!
Join us for a weekend of fun, and support a great cause! Tour de La Porte is a walking, running, and cycling event that raises money to support the mission of the La Porte County Family YMCA. Every year, our YMCA helps thousands of people lead a happier, healthier lifestyle through programs that promote healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility. With your help, we can make La Porte County a better place to call home.
NEW FOR 2023!
- We’ve added a brand new event, the Family Fun Run/Walk! More details coming soon!
- ALL participants will receive a finisher medal for completing your event!
- Individual Award Pick-Up after your race, there will no longer be an awards ceremony.
- We will no longer be hosting on-site registration. Online registration will remain open 15 minutes prior to each event. All participants will be responsible for registering themselves on their own devices.

ALL Running & Walking Events will start on Waverly Road, just outside of the parking lot. All Events will finish by Cummings Lodge.

Celebrity Golf Outing

Join Us For A Fun Filled Day On The Course To Support Youth & Families In Our Community!
We had so much fun last year, we’re ready to do it again! Join us for a fun filled day at Beechwood Golf Course, where you can golf alongside celebrities! Our morning starts off with registration at 8:00AM. Enjoy a grab & Go breakfast and Bloody Mary Bar. Shot Gun Start begins at 9:00AM. Our Celebrity guests for this year will be announced in the near future! Contests include Closest to the pin, Longest Drive, Hole in One, & a Putting Contest. A Mobile Cigar Bar & Beverage Carts will be available on the course all day. Lunch will be served at 12:00PM, with Dinner and awards to follow at 2:30PM. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive awards!
Halloween Family Fun Night

Halloween at the Y is one of our favorite community events! Dance, Play, & Swim the night away! We will have a dance party, themed stations, games, candy, and swimming! This event is offered completely FREE to our community!

Monday Wednesday Friday June 7-August 5, 8:30-12:30./ The fee is for the entire 8 week session.
This program will focus on academic skills (literacy and math, social-emotional development, and physical development. In addition to these competencies, the child’s environment and opportunities for learning will also be considered. This includes their interactions with adults, teachers and peers.

Camp will run from May 30th- August 4th. Core hours 8:30-5:00. B&A care available from 6:30am-8:30am then 5:00pm-6:00pm for a weekly price.

Schools out so spend the day at the YMCA! Kids will enjoy a day of fun, games, crafts, homework help, and pool time! Boys and girls in grades k-6th can register for the fun. Please bring a lunch, swim suit, towel and be ready for a fun filled day.
Camp hours are between 8am-5pm. Registration is done daily or register for multiple days at one time.
