Annual Campaign

The Y is more than a gym, more than a workout. In these uncertain times, we are a support system for many in our community. With your help, the Y is able to provide ways for families to connect and stay healthy no matter the situation, and offer financial assistance to those challenged by the ability to pay.

The La Porte County Family YMCA provides scholarships, free programs & subsidies to members of our community. This is made possible because of donors like you!

Community Partners

Our community partners support the Y, because they know their funds directly help us ensure that children and families, regardless of their ability to pay, can participate in vital YMCA programs. YMCA programs provide a supportive environment where kids can learn and grow to become strong, healthy adults. We’re committed to engaging individuals in activities that improve their health, and uniting our community members in support of one another.

We host several community events each year to raise crucial funds to support the mission of the Y.. Our Y is able to support the communities we serve with the help of generous participants and sponsors who support our events.

Tour de La Porte is a walking, running, and cycling event that raises money to support the mission of the La Porte County Family YMCA. Every year, our YMCA helps thousands of people lead a happier, healthier lifestyle through programs that promote healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility. With your help, we can make La Porte County a better place to call home!

Our Celebrity Golf Outing is a fun filled day on the course connecting local organizations and community members for a great cause. All proceeds from this event support the mission of the YMCA – to provide inclusive and equitable programming that strengthens the overall health and wellbeing of our community

The YMCA runs on the generosity of people like you. Whether it’s art supplies to help a child discover their inner Rembrandt, or sports equipment to unleash their inner LeBron James, helping the Y helps our community.

If you would like to gift the Y something from our wishlist, you can view it here.

The Horizon Club is a circle of friends who share a commitment to the long-term financial stability of the Y and a belief that the Y’s life-changing programs continue to be offered to future generations. At its core, the Horizon Club is a community of caring people coming together to meet the needs of others for lifetimes beyond their own.

Perhaps you grew up in the YMCA, your children learned to swim at the Y, or you just have the vision to see a better community for the future – the YMCA has a place in your heart.

Whether a gift to the Y’s endowment fund comes in the form of life insurance, a bequest in a will, or even through a gift of cash or securities, your planning for the future helps to ensure the future availability of the YMCA’s programs and values to children and families La Porte County.
