Led by qualified and caring staff, the La Porte County Family YMCA’s Before and After School Program is designed to support your child’s day from start to finish. Aligned with the school schedule, the program provides dedicated time for homework, engaging indoor and outdoor activities, and opportunities for creativity through arts and crafts.
Children also enjoy a healthy snack each afternoon in a safe, welcoming environment. Our program offers families peace of mind, knowing their children are well cared for, supported, and having fun while parents are at work or school.
> Sites of operation will be at Critchfield Elementary School and LPCSC Office at Boston Middle School, and will serve all of Kindergarten through 4th grade.
Before care will begin approximately 6:00 AM – start of the school day
After care will begin from school dismissal – 6:00PM
The YMCA will deliver developmentally appropriate and structured programming including:
• Homework assistance and academic enrichment
• Physical activity and recreation
• Arts and creative activities
• STEM enrichment
• Social- emotional skill development
