Afternoons R.O.C.K. In Indiana

The YMCA runs an “Afternoons R.O.C.K. in Indiana” program, in collaboration with the LaPorte Community School Corp., as part of our commitment to serving the teen community.

The R.O.C.K. program is a FREE after school teen program that educates teens on the results of using alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drugs. A good amount of time is also spent on homework, multi-cultural activities, and games. A snack is offered every day as well, (such as sloppy joes, pizza, tacos, ice cream sundaes, etc.). The program is free of charge and is available to all 10-14 year olds that attend the school in session. Everyone who completes the program also receives a $20 Gift Card and gets other daily prizes as well.

Funded by SAMHSA Block Grant CFDA 93.959 through FSSA/Division of Mental Health and Addiction.
The Problem Gambling Prevention portion of this program is funded by Problem Gambler’s Assistance Fund, through FSSA/Division of Mental Health and Addiction.
