Kidwatch Caregiver

Join our team! Are you great with kids? Do you want make a difference in a child's life? The La Porte County Family YMCA- La Porte Branch is looking for a flexible, team player to work part-time hours both morning and evenings in our Kidwatch area. This caregiver position focused mainly on guiding and encouraging children ages 6 months - 13 yrs. while their parents participate in other Y program opportunities. This individual must be self-motivated, patient, responsible and engaging. We also require a strong understanding of the Y mission and proven childcare skills. Before and After School Site Assistant

The Y is hiring for a Site Assistant for our Latchkey Program located at Rolling Prairie Elementary School. Hours are 6:00-8:30 a.m. and 2:30-6:00 p.m. on operating school days. Applicants must have completed high school or equivalent and be at least 21 years of age. Qualified individuals must demonstrate the ability to work well with young children.
