Welcome to the

La Porte County
Family YMCA

The La Porte County Family YMCA strengthens the foundations of our community through well-being and fitness, camps, family time, swim, sports and play, and other activities for people of all ages, incomes and abilities. We’re more than just a place to work out. At the Y, we help build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all with the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility at the heart of everything we do.

With a commitment to nurturing youth development, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Y ensures that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive.

La Porte Community and New Prairie United school corporations are now closed for the day. The Y will have Snow Day out camp for all kids attending a school that is not in session today. Register at the front desk of the La Porte branch Y and bring a sack lunch, swimsuit and towel. Due to the school closures, there will be no swim lessons or Tae Kwon Do at the La Porte branch. For scheduled basketball practices, please contact your coach. Michigan City Educare program is running on a regular schedule today. Drive safely and remember the Y is always here for you & your family!

BELIEVE, BE HEALTHY, BELONG! Our Fall Youth Basketball program starts Saturday, November 2nd with games at 8:00 am, 9:00 am and 10:00 am. For a detailed schedule, click here http://lpymca.org/docs/FALL%20Schedule%202013.pdf
